Synthesis Media Company

Synthesis Media Company was established in 2001 with the purpose to breathe “fresh air” in the cultural reality of Greece. The motto of the Company is “reality is beautiful”.
It specifically aims to make use of marketing techniques in order to present classical works to everyday, modern people.
Synthesis has already produced a number of events in the most prestigious venues such as the Herodion Ancient Theatre, Megaron of Music (The Athens Concert Hall), and Lycabettus theatre.
Synthesis has undertaken various projects which have been widely covered by the Greek and international media. Previous events include:

• The original musical “Carnival of the Animals” with Jeremy Irons in the leading role
• The experimental performance “Golfo 2.3 beta” influenced by the Japanese manga and animation.
• The ancient tragedy Sophocles’ “Antigoni” directed by Spyros Vrachoritis.
• The production “Hello India” a meeting of Indian and Greek musicians and performers.
• The production “Cavafis Year project”, one of the most distinguished modern, Greek poets, sponsored by the Cultural Olympiad.
• The publication of “Demo”, a magazine for the arts and culture
